Welcome to my geeky journal! I'm confetti. Here you'll hear me talk about nifty gadgets, code, programs, or geeky things I just fell in love with. It's completely and 100% public. :)

My username means "Alex" in Octal. Octal is the base-8 number system, which used eight symbols (0-7). Programs often display data in octal format because it is relatively easy for humans to read and can easily be translated into binary, which is the most important format for computers. Binary is one of the most common "geek languages," but octal is for the down right nerdy. :)
